Mobile Mechanic Brake Repair in Orlando

Squeal, grind, a pulsing pedal, or a brake light that stays on — that is a driveway job. FD Auto Solutions is a mobile mechanic serving the Orlando area. We come to you, measure pad thickness and rotor condition, and quote the axle you actually need. Pads and rotors. Honest numbers. No waiting room.

A shop will often sell a four-wheel brake package on the first visit. A lot of cars only need one axle. We measure both, show you the numbers, and do the work in your driveway with the car properly supported.

Florida rain and afternoon storms eat rotors if pads are left metal-on-metal. Catching a pad job early is cheaper than rotors, calipers, and a towed car. If a caliper is stuck, we tell you before we start, because that changes the ticket.

European cars (BMW, Mercedes, Lexus) are welcome. Hardware, sensors, and torque specs are part of the job — not extras sprung at the end. This page is pads, rotors, and the hardware that belongs with them. If the job is no longer driveway-safe, you hear that before we start.

Driveway visit — quote before we start

We come to you. You get the number. Nothing starts until you approve.

Pad thickness and rotor condition, both axles. You see the numbers — not a scare package.

  3. 03

    Quote before we start

You get the price for the axle that actually needs work. Nothing comes off until you say go.

  4. 04

Hardware and lubricant as required. Torque to spec. Road-test when the location allows. You keep the keys.

Questions about this job

Can you replace brake pads at my house?
Yes. Pad and rotor work is a standard driveway job. We need a level surface and a few feet around the car. Jacks, stands, and torque tools come with us.
Do I get a quote before any work starts?
Always. We measure first, show you pad and rotor condition, then quote the axle that needs it. You approve before anything comes off.
Will you replace only the bad side?
Brakes are done by axle. We will not replace a single pad on one corner and send you off with an imbalance.
Do you replace rotors or just pads?
We measure both. If the rotor is in spec, pads only. If it is warped, grooved, or under thickness, we replace it and tell you why before we start.
How long does a mobile brake job take?
Most pad-and-rotor axles are a couple of hours on site once parts are in hand. Measurement and quote can happen on the first visit.
Do I have to leave the car at a shop?
No. Book a window, we show up, you keep the keys. If a caliper or hub is seized and the job is no longer driveway-safe, we say so before we start.

Why mobile

Why the driveway

You already have a level driveway, office stall, or guest spot. We bring jacks, stands, and torque tools. The car stays where it lives. You keep the keys. That is the point of mobile brake repair in Orlando — not a tow, not a shop minimum, not four hours in a loaner.

  • Measured on site before anything is ordered
  • Quoted before we start — you approve the number
  • Work done by the axle, in the driveway
